What To See In Theaters

It’s not always easy to find out which movies are hitting theaters each week, especially as the Hollywood strikes led to many release date changes. With the WGA strike resolved and awards season heating up, there are more dramas and prestige productions in theaters for the next few months. Meanwhile October will bring a wealth of scary fare, while November and December should see family-friendly films and crowdpleasers for the holidays.

Martin Scorsese’s three and a half hour crime thriller “Killers of the Flower Moon” is out this week in select theaters, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone. For those looking to kickoff the spooky season, “The Exorcist: Believer,” with Ellen Burstyn, Jennifer Nettles and Leslie Odom Jr., has its wide release. Romantic comedy “She Came to Me,” starring Peter Dinklage, Anne Hathaway and Marisa Tomei, is also premiering in select theaters. Next week, be prepared to hear singing and cheering from Swifties with the release of “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.”
